Dilly's Curiosity Shop was founded by Dillard, "Dilly", and his wife Sally. These constant companions  were visual artists, musicians, hairdressers, and knitwear designers.  Dilly's Curiosity Shop grew out of existing business ventures in 1985.  Dilly's went through many phases, and merchandise selection adapted, always staying true to a vision of offerings of a unique and thought-provoking nature.  Sadly, in 2004, Dillard unexpectedly passed away and  ownership and operation of the Shop was then offered to Dillard and Sally's Daughter and Son-in-law.  The Shop was moved to its current location in March of 2007, and under fresh new direction continues to evolve and provide one of the area's most memorable shopping experiences.
